Case 1
This is a 32-year-old patient with nasal obstruction. MR examination and post-operative follow-up is provided. Similar illustration is shown elsewhere in a pediatric patient. You might notice opacified left maxillary sinus and nasal cavity, due to mucosal components. Appearance is due to hypertrophic mucosa not due to fluid, as shown on T2 images. Maxillary sinus opening is enlarged. Findings indicate an Antro-choanal polyp. Post-operative findings are also illustrated after surgical removal of the polyp.
